The World Has Lost An Apple 06 October 2011@10:31 AM I never knew what Apple was. What Apple created, what people were so in awe with Apple stuff. So? Apple is just the same as Microsoft and Dell, I thought. Who is Steve Jobs? Why Apple and not Orange or Grapes? Why is the Apple logo bitten off? Dear Mr. Jobs, Exactly, I was that damn blur kid who know nothing about Apple. It never occur to me that Apple actually produces something more extraordinary. The first Apple product I held was...sorry, I couldn't remember. 'Cause I was and still am deeply obsessed with my first Apple product. My iPod Touch 4G. A memorable one because I got it in commemoration of my graduation in Oct 2010 as well as the long wait I had to go through to finally iTouch it. I was in heaven to finally own the iPod Touch after all the envious feeling I had for others who had it. Haha nawhh, that's not true. I just fell in love with it since the first time I browse around an iPod Touch. Initially, I wanted an iPod Shuffle then Nano. I thought, what the heck, just come out with a few more MYR and get the complete thing. Phone wise, I'm always in the Blackberry zone. I have never developed an interest in iPhones - still never now no matter how great it has become. Sorry about that, Mr. Jobs. Probably because I already have the iPod Touch and both are almost the same except iPod Touch is incapable of making calls and no 3G. Maybe because you think I might have a change of mind, you asked God to grant me a free iPad 1 last year from my university's alumni survey lucky draw. A giant and heavier version of iPod Touch / iPhone. Well, thanks, Mr. Jobs. It is heavier but wider to play games and surf the net with. A lot easier to bring around either. Just when I have no interest in iPad as well, you made me fell in love with it. Just by harassing the box. -___- Why did you made such gadgets that hurts really bad whenever it slipped from my hand and onto my face or my chest (while I was lying down, playing it)? It really hurts, Mr. Jobs but I still love the gadgets as much as you did. :) I'm not sure if Apple will ever be the same without you. But I'm sure Tim Cook will do a great job being the new CEO and will 'cook' us all up with future Apple gadgets. You wouldn't recommend him if he was bad. Thank you for all the great technologies you've brought into this world and you are definitely the Thomas Edison of my generation. Also, for inspiring young peoples that nothing is impossible.
